Howdy! That's the Fightin' Texas Aggie way of saying hello. And I say it pretty frequently. I'm a Texas born, Florida transplant. I've been living in South Florida for about three years and spent two years up in the Melbourne area. I've got a cute husband, two cats, lots of plants, some poison dart frogs that I don't really pay much attention to because that's Chris' arena, and a huge aquarium that I also pretty much ignore because that's Chris' baby.
I'm a collector of hobbies. I like to spend my time doing creative things, outdoor stuff and reading. My favorite authors are L.M. Montgomery, Diana Gabaldon, J.K. Rowling, Jane Austen, and Nicholas Sparks. I don't spend as much time reading these days as I should, mostly because I'm either crocheting, painting, scrapbooking gardening, hiking, sleeping, or slacking off doing something else, like watching reruns of The King of Queens.
Let's see, some random things that pop out of my head for some fun....Ft. Worth is better than Dallas, Tex-Mex is my favorite food, I voted for Ralph Nader in 2000, I'm clumsy. I've been to Panama, Chile, Galapagos Islands, and Costa Rica, all when I was 17/18 on the Texas Clipper II at TAMUG. My degree is
marine biology. I don't necessarily use it for that, but I do work in the environmental field. I would love to work with sea turtles (paying $20 an hour mind you, I'm not a friggin' intern.) I know the Beaches soundtrack pretty darn well. In fact, one of my favorite movies. And Fried Green Tomatoes, The Philadelphia Story, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, Love Actually, Pride and Prejudice. And Benji..
